MY ROOM: Quietly, Out Loud.

This online space is written and managed solely by me, “Karlita" and thought of as an extension of (my 1st ever) “MY ROOM”.

For the first time in my life I have claimed my own room/space just for me, within my home. Before March 1, 2025 I’ve only had a few short seasons of sleeping in a room alone, but I’ve never truly had “my own room”.

Don’t be mistaken, these are not complaints! Simply just some perspective as I continue to document my journey of just GOD AND I, within my lifelong stories of the “ALL OF US”.

Recently, I began digging deeper to claim better boundaries for myself. Some are silent ones between only God and I. Those I’ve placed within my heart to carry each day. Other boundaries are “other people affected boundaries” I’ve needed to share out loud with loved ones involved in my/our life…..

Claiming “MY ROOM” has been a physical boundary and desire since childhood. One I never knew just how much I’ve needed. It has already lowered my anxiety level, given me more peaceful rest and I’m finding a bit more personal fulfillment each day. {This is Day 2 and I already enjoy having a place to temporarily escape the amped up moments of wild-child noise and briefly calm my body down so I can continue on.}…
