The Day of the DMV
Lord God Almighty, thank you for your renewed grace and mercy, the blood of Jesus, and the constant returning of your Holy Spirit to guide me through my missteps and shameful manners when I return to you in repentance. May everyday bring me deeper learning of what it means to be justified (just as if I’d never sinned) by your grace. Thank you for maturing my faith in my daily choices, and for helping me place my heart of rocks in the pond of your mercies made new for me every morning. Thank you for my teachable moments of minor sufferings and big missteps and for my husband who shows me your grace in his embrace and prayers everyday. What a gift he is!
And as I’m finalizing this post he texted me this from the living room about 10 feet away to encourage me. How blessed and beautiful my life is Lord. And he even baked and delivered to me, this cookie!
